Slow Cooker-Meatball Sandwiches

Today for dinner I made slow-cooker meatball sandwiches- I found the recipe on Pinterest. I am never to sure how recipes will turn out but this one was amazing and so simple! I did substitute the ground beef for ground turkey instead. Also, sorry for such bad picture quality! I will try to fix that for the next time!

Getting the ingredients ready for the meatballs

Meatballs put into the sauce and ready to be cooked in the slow-cooker

The finished product--- watch out for the steam it can burn! I always forget that.

Seriously delicious!

Fall is in the air

First off this is my FAVORITE time of year. I will tell you that every year. I love it so much. I am just so lucky to be named after it. Okay moving on...

Brody started school 2 weeks ago but hasn't gone more then a couple of times because he ended up getting sick with a bad cold. He's finally getting over it.

Beyla started walking a little over 2 weeks ago. She likes to stand a walk everywhere. She seems to be getting better and more stable while walking. She loves to clap when she is standing and loves to try to crawl over and onto to everything. She is busy all the time! She likes to follow me everywhere and will cry and crawl to me while saying mama if I leave the room. She likes to sing along with us when we sing, especially when Brody is singing. She loves to stand and walk in the bath--- scares me.

Next week I'm going to post some Pinterest recipes that I'm trying. I'm going to review the recipe and food on here for anyone else wanting to try those recipes. I tried a crockpot chicken noodle soup last week and did everything the way the recipe said to and it turned out horrible!!! I've noticed on Pinterest no one every reviews what they try, they are just pinning what looks good to them. Pinterest is kind of a gambling game-- you really don't know if what you are pinning is going to turn out how it is claiming to. We shall see how that goes.

*she loves to stand up by herself with out holding on to anything
*she has stood up in the middle of the floor a few times by herself
*she loves to eat food with us in her highchair
*she likes to crawl to her brother and stand by using him to get up-- he hates it
*she loves to try and play with him and what he's playing with--he hates it
*she is always on the go

Beyla 6 month checkup

Beyla had her doctor appointment for her 6 month shots and check up last week a few days before she turned 7 months.

Her stats are:
Weight: 16lbs - 30%
Height: 26.5 inches - 30%
Head circumfrance: 17.25 inches - 65%

She is still such a mama's girl. She doesn't have stranger danger anymore! She crawls backwards. She gets very frustrated trying to move forward. She tries to pull herself up to standing. Loves her brother and her dad. Talks a bunch of baby gibberish. Says mamamama when she is upset. HATES being in her carseat and hates when we drive in a dip or over a bump. She has perfected her cry so right away it sounds like she's been crying forever, with tears and everything. She likes to grab faves and kiss/eat them. She is a midget and I have to put a box under her feet in her jumpy so that her feet touch the bottom. She loves pop music.

Brody loves his sister but really likes to try and throw things at her. He is getting better at playing make believe, which is really good. I feel bad that I have sooo many pictures of Beyla but Brody won't stand still for pictures of he gets mad at me for taking pictures of him. I do have thousands of pictures of him though so I don't feel to guilty.

I'm going through a lot of personal issues right now so I have been a bad blogger. Things have been very hard for me right now and I'm just trying to figure everything out. I wanted to write down a bit about my kids so I don't forget.

Beyla turned 6 months on May 30th!
She has her 6 months appointment a few days before she turns 7 months so I can't put any of her stats yet.

She is a total mamas girl! She wants me to hold her ALL THE TIME. If I'm nog holding her she needs to be able to see me or she will get really upset.

She is constantly moving-- rolling or scooting around on the floor.
She loves to put her feet in her mouth.
She is almost a pro at sitting.

Brody finished preschool the end of last month. His teacher looked like she was going to cry because she won't be his teacher next school year. Brody loved school and I think he REALLY misses that schedule. He has been a little punk lately.

Brody seems to really like Beyla a lot more lately. Those two are the cutest to watch together. I love them so much. Being a mom is really the best thing ever.
